You can be on a contract with monthly payments or pay-as-you-go. Airtime Rewards works with all major phone networks, including:

Is Airtime Rewards Legit and Safe to Use?

Many people have an aversion to linking their bank cards to a third-party service. However, linking your card to Airtime Rewards is low risk, and the app will never charge you.

Furthermore, Airtime Rewards has an excellent score on Trustpilot. Trustpilot is an independent consumer review website. It allows users to post about their experience with a company. With over 1,000 reviews, you can rest assured that Airtime Rewards is legit and safe.

How to Get Started with Airtime Rewards

Airtime Rewards is free to use. Depending on the retailer, you will earn 2%-10% of your purchase. It works with various stores such as Waitrose, Boots, Caffe Nero, Nike, Primark, etc.

Shoppix is another receipt-scanning app. The app also enables you to make money from:

• Quick surveys
• Free scratchcards, rewarding you with tokens (the Shoppix currency)
• Friend referrals
• eReceipts (from online purchases)

One receipt, regardless of the purchase value, translates into 25 tokens. You receive a five-token bonus if you upload another receipt within a specific timeframe. Surveys pay around 10 tokens.

One token is worth £0.0016. Given that you get 30 tokens per receipt, one receipt is worth £0.05. Hence, to make £5 with Shoppix, you would have to upload 100 receipts.

Storewards is the UK-based successor of Receipt Hog. The major downside of this receipt cashback app is that it only accepts a limited number of users.

If you want to use Storewards, download the app to see if registrations are open. If you manage to get in, there are some big advantages of Storewards:

• You will get paid in cash (PayPal)
• Payout it super fast
• Snap receipts from all purchases, not only groceries
• Coins are easy to earn

Storewards won’t make you rich, but it is great for extra cash. For each receipt, you earn 600 coins. Plus, there are many other ways to increase your coin stash:

• Sign-up bonus: up to 10,000 coins when you sign up with the same email address you used on Receipt Hog
• 250 coins when you use a promo code
• Daily sign-in bonus: up to 100 coins just for logging in
• Bonus coins: 1,000 coins for inviting a friend and an extra 250 when they sign up

You can snap up to five receipts per day from UK-based retailers. You can cash out once you have reached 20,000 coins, which translates to £2. You must scan 34 receipts if you don’t receive coins from other sources. One receipt is worth £0.06.
