ySense Survey Review
ySense is a legit get-paid-to and survey site. ySense is owned by Protege, the same company behind Swagbucks. It has plenty of offers available and a range of payout options.
Overall, ySense is a solid site to make extra money.
What Is ySense?
ySense describes itself as a “global online community with multiple earning options”. Other sites call ySense a survey site.
This is not wrong but ySense offers much more than just surveys. They are what we call a get-paid-to (GPT) or rewards site.
GPT sites pay you for simple tasks such as signing up to third-party sites, watching ads, and completing surveys. Examples of GPT sites include Freecash.com and GPTPlanet.
Read my Freecash.com review and my GPTPlanet review for more information. Freecash.com also gives you the chance to win up to $250 just for signing up.
ySense, formerly known as Clixsense, is a brand owned by Prodege, a US-based online marketing firm. Founded in 2007, ySense currently is available to users worldwide.
Is ySense Legit?
ySense is legit and not a scam. Prodege, the company behind ySense also owns Swagbucks. You can find out more about Prodege here.
On Trustpilot, ySense also fares well. the ySense survey reviews have an average score of 3.8 out of 5.0. Overall, 74% of users rated ySense as great or excellent.

What Is Trustpilot?
Overall, there are over 150 million reviews on Trustpilot. You can generally get a good understanding of the legitimacy and customer-friendliness of a company.
Does ySense Really Pay? (ySense Payment Proof)
I am always hesitant when I am cashing out with a website for the first time. However, with ySense, I received my money without problems within two days.
You can see the PayPal notification below.

How Does ySense Work?
Get-paid-to sites like ySense work by paying users to complete tasks. These tasks are offers from third-party sites that pay ySense to list them on the platform.
For these third-party companies, a ySense listing is essentially an advertisement. Users will see the listing and click through to the website.
Then, if they like the product, they might use it beyond the paid tasks.
Then, there are also typical market research tasks such as surveys. With these, the advertiser gains your data that they can use to develop and improve their products.
How to Sign up to ySense
Signing up to ySense is free. Simply click here, enter your email address and password, and click “Join Now”.
You will need to enter your full name in the next step but after that, you are good to go.
After you have signed up, you can immediately start to complete tasks. You may want to focus on the highest-paying tasks first but ultimately, the offers you complete are up to you.
How Can You Earn Money with ySense?
ySense offers different ways to earn money:
- Surveys
- Offer walls
- Referrals
- Daily poll
- Daily checklist bonus
- Shopping receipts
1. ySense Surveys
Surveys are one of the main ways to make money on ySense. At the time of writing this ySense survey review, surveys pay from a few cents to a few dollars.
The highest-earning survey takes eleven minutes and pays $6.00.

2. Offer Walls on ySense
Offer walls are collections of offers grouped by advertiser. Offers on offer walls may include signing up to third-party websites, watching ads, playing games, and more.
They can be all sorts of simple tasks anyone can do.
At the time of writing this ySense survey review, the following offer walls are available:
- Wannads
- Revenue Universe
- OfferToro
- ayeT Studios
- AdGate
- Adscend
- Peanut Labs
- AdGem
Each offer wall has around 50 that pay between a few cents to several dollars. Some offers may pay $40.00 or more.
However, these offers also take more effort and are often casino sign-ups. ySense is also one of the best game apps to make money.

3. Referrals
ySense friend referral scheme can be found under “Affiliates” in the top menu. You will then see the referral link that you can share with your friends.
For each friend you refer, you will earn:
- $0.10-$0.30 when your friend signs up (depending on your country)
- $2.00 once your friend earns $5.00
- 20% of your friend’s earnings (more if you have over 100 active referrals)
A great way to use make use of this link if you have already referred your friends (or do not have any friends) is to share it on sites such as invitation.codes.
Invitation.codes make your link public, meaning any user searching for a referral link can use it.
4. Daily Poll
The daily poll is a question you can answer once per day. It will pay $0.01. It is not a great earner but it only takes a second to do.
5. Daily Checklist Bonus
By completing the daily checklist, you can receive a bonus of up to 16% of your earnings on a specific day. To complete the daily checklist, you need to:
- Complete at least two surveys from the surveys page or
- Complete at least two offers from ySense offers or the offer walls
Some offers are not eligible for the daily checklist bonus so make sure you check the terms first.
The 16% bonus is made up as follows:
| Task | Bonus (%) |
|---|---|
| + Run the ySense browser add-on for one hour or more | 12% |
| + Complete the checklist for three days in a row | +2% |
| + complete the checklist for three days in a row | +2% |
6. Shopping Receipts
Some users may see the option to submit receipts under “Surveys”. This is not available to all users.
For me, the “Submit Receipt” option was not available until I logged out and back in and refreshed the page a few times.
If you see this option, you can upload your shopping receipts and receive a reward. ySense accepts all major supermarkets and some other shots including Boots and Wilko.
Each receipt pays $0.05. This is in line with what other UK receipt-scanning apps pay.
The ySense Browser Add-on
With the browser add-on, you can keep track of your earnings at all times. You will also receive notifications when new surveys are available.
Overall, the ySense browser add-on is not super useful. However, you need to keep it turned on for at least an hour per day if you want to earn 2% extra from the daily bonus checklist.

The minimum withdrawal threshold on ySense is $3 for Amazon vouchers. The other withdrawal options (cash and gift cards) are as follows:

Tips for Making Money on ySense
Try the following tips to maximise your earnings on ySense:
1. Refer Friends
You get lifetime earnings for every friend you refer. This means you can make money without actually doing anything once you have referred friends.
Thus, you should definitely take part in the friend referral scheme. If you have no friends to refer, you can post your referral link online on referral link sharing sites and social media.
2. Check the Site Frequently
The available offers change all the time. Thus, if you have completed all offers or there is nothing for you at the moment, there is no need to be disappointed.
Simply check back a few days later and you may find something.
3. Use the Survey Routers
If you cannot see any surveys or have completed the ones you were eligible for, you can find hidden surveys. To do that, go to the section “Daily Survey Routers”.
Clicking on the boxes under this heading might reveal more surveys. You can also try them at different times of the day as different surveys will be available.
4. Do Not Limit Yourself to ySense
There are many opportunities to earn money online on the internet. In addition to ySense, you can also use other reward and survey sites.
Although a lot of the offers will be the same, you may find some different ones. You may also find that you prefer other sites over ySense.
ySense Survey Review Summary
As you can see from this ySense survey review, ySense is a legit get-paid-to (GPT) site. While ySense is mainly known for its surveys, there are also several other ways to make money.
These include offer walls and friend referrals. Overall, I consider ySense to be one of the best GPT sites for UK users.
ySense will not make you rich but it is a nice way to make some money in your spare time. One major downside is that ySense does not have a sign-up offer, unlike its competitors.
For example, on Cashback, you get £5 just for signing up. Read my Cashback.co.uk review to get your cash bonus.
