This post compares Outplayed Platinum/Diamond vs Pro so you can determine whether upgrading your plan is worth it. Do the extra profits justify the price? Or is Outplayed Pro a waste of money?

I’ve been doing matched betting since 2019 and have made over £15,000 since then. I’ve reviewed several matched betting sites, including Outplayed Platinum and Diamond. Now, it’s time to have a look at Outplayed Pro.

💡 Quick Answer: Should You Upgrade to Outplayed Pro?

Outplayed Pro is Outplayed’s newest plan and lets you access the 2UP Master and the Extra Place Master. It enables you to make more profits by betting smarter. However, it isn’t for everyone. I only recommend Outplayed Pro if you:

  • Are an advanced matched bettor
  • Want to do 2UPs and Extra Places
  • Want to or are currently doing casino offers
  • Have a working Bet365 account

If you check all these boxes, Outplayed Pro can help to increase your profits despite the price. However, because of the high upfront cost and the risk of losing your Bet365 account, it is safer to pay monthly.

What Is Outplayed Pro?

Outplayed Pro is Outplayed’s newest plan. It launched in November 2023 and is an addition to Outplayed’s other two plans, which I have reviewed here:

Outplayed Pro targets matched bettors who aim to make over £1000 monthly from matched betting. Outplayed states the Pro plan is suitable for beginners because the tools are simple and easy to use.

It is Outplayed’s most expensive plan and offers access to all Platinum and Diamond features. The distinctions over Outplayed’s other plans are three extra features:

  • 2UP Master
  • Extra Place Master
  • Price Boost private Group Alerts

Feature Comparison

Outplayed Pro helps with 2UPs, extra places, and price boosts. Until now, matched bettors have been doing these using tools available on the Platinum and Diamond plans. And it worked. I’ve made over £5000 from these offers without the Pro plan.

So, why should you consider upgrading? Let’s look at each tool in more detail.

Platinum/Diamond vs Pro features.

1. 2UP Master

Normal 2UPs

2UPs is a reload offer where you get paid out as the winner if your team gets ahead by two goals. 2UPs are the most popular reload offer, mainly offered by Bet365 and Paddy Power.

So far, matched bettors have used a filter in the Oddsmatcher to do 2UP offers. This involved looking for a match with close odds and hoping for a 2UP.

2UPs With the 2UP Master

At first glance, the 2UP Master looks little different from the normal Oddsmatcher. The apparent difference is that it only has matched eligible for 2UPs from Bet365 and Paddy Power.

2Up matcher Outplayed

It also shows two new columns, EV% and FTA%. EV% shows the long-term value. For example, for the Winterthur vs FC Zurich game in the screenshot, the EV of a £100 stake would be £15.30. This doesn’t mean you’ll make £15.30 from this bet, but it should be your long-term profit.

FTA% is the chance of a full turnaround. A full turnaround means the team you bet on goes ahead by two goals, and the opponent makes a comeback. Outplayed’s proprietary algorithm calculates this chance. This calculation takes into account:

  • Home/away advantages
  • Favourite/underdog advantage
  • Scoreline data
  • Momentum effects
  • Other data

In basic terms, the 2UP Master predicts the chance of a 2UP. This helps you pick more profitable matches. Betting only on the most profitable matches increases the EV of 2UPs. It’s the EV calculation that is the key to the 2UP Master.

Your bet and lay stakes don’t differ from ordinary 2UPs. The only difference is that you can pick better matches. In case you are wondering, the calculator of the 2UP Master looks as follows:

2. Extra Place Master

Normal Extra Places

Extra Places are reload offers in which the bookmaker offers to pay out for an additional place. You bet on a horse to win or place, and if it finishes in the additional place, both your back and lay bets win. On the Platinum and Diamond plans, Outplayed offers the Extra Place Catcher.

Extra Places With the Extra Place Master

Outplayed Pro offers the Extra Place Master. As you can see in the screenshot below, it looks similar to the normal Extra Place Catcher:

Extra place master

There are two columns of interest: EV% and EP Chance. EV% is the expected profit. In the example above, if you bet on Grasss Jet, you can expect a long-term profit of £28.5. EP Chance is the chance your horse will finish in the extra place.

Outplayed calculates this chance using a proprietary algorithm. It doesn’t explain how this algorithm works other than analysing each participant in intense detail.

Similar to the 2UP Master, the Extra Place Master increases the EV of a bet by calculating the chance of success. (The chance of finishing in the extra place in this case.) This makes Extra Place offers more profitable over the long term.

As with the 2UP Master, your bets don’t differ from normal Extra Places. You’ll have the same bet and lay stakes. What differs is that you only bet on the most profitable matches. You can see the Extra Place Master calculator below:

3. Price Boost Private Group Alerts

Currently, Outplayed members use a forum thread to share price boost alerts. Bookmakers only offer price boosts for a short period, and once everyone jumps on them, take them down. This means you often miss out because you are too late.

Outplayed Pro users will receive a notification when a price boost becomes available. Getting a notification early means taking advantage of the price boost before anyone else.

Outplayed plans to release this price boost tool in January 2024.

How Good Is Outplayed’s Algorithm?

The 2UP Master and the Extra Place Master rely on Outplayed’s algorithm. This algorithm calculates the change FTA and EP chance. Based on beta testers, Outplayed states that the value of their tools is as follows:

  • Extra Place Master: £2500 per year
  • 2UP Master: £2000 per year

According to these figures, the algorithm must have at least some accuracy. However, these data come from Outplayed directly. It may or may not reflect actual practice. As more users upgrade, we’ll see the real value. Perhaps this is a reason why you might prefer to pay monthly.

Price Comparison

Outplayed Pro is Outplayed’s most expensive plan:

PlanPlatinumDiamondPro
Annual price£250£450£995
Monthly price£29.99£49.99£95
Outplayed price comparison.

The cost of Pro is double/more than double that of the Diamond plan, depending on whether you pay annually or monthly. It means you pay £545 annually or £45.01 monthly extra for the 2UP Master and the Extra Place Master. (Since the price boosts are not yet available.)

If you don’t want to do casino offers, you’ll pay an extra £745 annually or £65.01 monthly for the Pro plan.

Pros and Cons of Outplayed Pro

So, in the end, this comparison boils down to the following:

ProsCons
Spend less time matched betting while making more profitPay an extra £545 annually or £45.01 monthly (Diamond users)
Or
Pay an extra £747 annually or £65.01 monthly if you don’t do casino offers
Pros and cons of Outplayed Pro.

Is Outplayed Pro Worth It?

Outplayed Pro is worth it if the extra tools enable you to earn more than £45.01 monthly and £545 extra. If you don’t want to do casino offers, you need to earn at least £747 annually or £65.01 from the Pro plan tools to break even.

By placing smarter bets, you should be able to achieve these targets. However, if you don’t want to do casino offers, you’ll have to work harder to make Outplayed Pro worth it.

Another limiting factor is that 2UPs depend on Bet365. If you don’t have a working Bet365 account, the Pro plan might not be worth it for you. For this reason, I don’t recommend paying annually. Almost £1000 is too much to pay if you lose your Bet365 account after a few weeks.

Personally, I also don’t recommend the Pro plans to beginners. You’ll waste money if you upgrade before understanding how reload offers work. It’s better to focus on sign-up offers first and upgrade once you’re at the stage to do reload offers.

Alternatives to Outplayed Pro

The most popular alternative to Outplayed is OddsMonkey. OddsMonkey doesn’t currently offer advanced 2UP or Extra Place matches. However, OddsMonkey has a 0% commission at Smarkets. As Smarkets normally charges a 2% commission, you can earn 2% more from every bet with OddsMonkey.

OddsMonkey states that an average matched bettor saves £171.50 per year by not paying a commission on Smarkets. This translates to £14.25 per month.

With the 2UP Master and the Extra Place Master, you can make more than that. However, this is only if you actually want to do 2UPs and Extra Places. If you don’t do these offers, you won’t get any benefit from Outplayed Pro.

Outplayed Platinum/Diamond vs Pro Summary

Outplayed Pro is Outplayed’s most expensive plan and gives you access to the 2UP Master and the Extra Place Master. These two tools make your matched betting smarter. You can make more profit in less time by picking more profitable matches.

However, Outplayed Pro isn’t worth it for everyone because of its high price. You need to have a working Bet365 account, have completed the sign-up offers, and want to complete the specific types of reload offers.
