What Is InboxPounds?
InboxPounds is a rewards site and belongs to the best get-paid-to sites. In brief, InboxPounds pays you to complete tasks, including surveys and sign-up offers.
InboxPounds belongs to InboxDollars. InboxDollars is also the name of its US sister site. The American site was founded by Daren Cotter in 2000 and acquired by Prodege in 2019. In the UK, the company is registered as InboxPounds Limited.
Is InboxPounds Legit?
InboxPounds is legit and not a scam. As mentioned above, InboxPounds belongs to Prodege. This is the same company that also owns ySense. InboxPounds is registered with the company number 07871672 and based in Cheshire.
On Trustpilot, InboxPounds has an average score of 3.8 out of 5.0. Overall, 69% of users rated InboxPounds as great or excellent. Most negative reviews seem to complain about survey screen-out rates. This is common on survey sites and is not limited to InboxPounds.
What Is Trustpilot?
Overall, there are over 150 million reviews on Trustpilot. You can generally get a good understanding of the legitimacy and customer-friendliness of a company.
Is InboxPounds Safe?
InboxPounds is safe to use. Prodege, the owner of InboxPounds, is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Prodege is rated “B” on a scale from A to F. InboxPounds has security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information.
While InboxPounds is safe, associated third-party sites may not be. You may need to sign up with a merchant through InboxPounds’ link to complete an offer. Before doing this, look up reviews for the merchant to ensure they are legit.
How Does InboxPounds Work?
You can create an account on InboxPounds for free. Once signed up, you can choose from the offers on the website. These offers are from third-party advertisers. They hope that you like their service and keep using it.
By completing these offers, you will accumulate money. When you have £20 in your account, you can request a payout via PayPal or gift cards.
1. Signing up to InboxPounds
Signing up to InboxPounds is easy. You can create a free account with an email address and a password. You need to confirm InboxPounds’ privacy policy. (I recommend unsubscribing from the newsletter.) Once done, confirm your email address to get your sign-up bonus.

2. Completing Offers
You can immediately start using the site. The easiest way to start is to complete the steps on the list on the homepage. This helps you familiarise yourself with InboxPounds and awards you a £0.50 bonus.
Offers include signing up to gambling and bingo sites, taking out free trials, and more.
3. Cashing out and Getting Paid
Once you have £20, you can withdraw your earnings from InboxPounds. To do so, head to the footer and choose between:
- PayPal cash
- Mastercard UK cash
- Amazon gift cards
- Caffee Nero gift cards
- John Lewis gift cards
- Marks & Spencer gift cards
- Tesco gift cards
The most popular choices include PayPal cash and Amazon vouchers. These are available in the following amounts.

My recommendation with rewards sites is always to cash out once you hit the threshold. InboxPounds is not a bank account. Your earnings have no protection.
Ways to Make Money With InboxPounds
1. Completing Paid Surveys
Online surveys are one of the most well-known ways to make extra money. They do not tend to pay well but are easy to do. InboxPounds may screen you out if you do not meet the survey requirements. This can be annoying, but at least you get a spin on the Spin and Win wheel. You are unlikely to win, but it is more than most survey sites offer.
2. Playing Games
InboxPounds is one of the best game apps. To earn cash from gaming, you must install one of the games on InboxPounds via their link. Then, you need to reach a certain achievement within a specific timeframe. Games can pay well (up to £55), but the reward reflects the effort required to reach the in-game achievement.
3. Searching the Web
InboxPounds also pays you to search the web. To make money from searching, head to the “Search” section. You will see InboxPounds’ search engine.
You get a chance to win cash for every four searches. While this may sound great, the maximum you can earn from searches every day is £0.07.
4. Completing Offers
Apart from surveys and games, you can also find a lot of other offers on InboxPounds. These include trying out new sites, doing sign-ups, and watching ads. You can find them in the “Offers” section.
To complete an offer, click on it to see the instructions. Some are device specific, so you must do them from your phone or computer. Not all offers pay immediately. Sometimes, offers remain pending for up to 14 days.
5. Reading Emails
With InboxPounds, you have the option to receive paid emails. These pay you for clicking on the links in the email. They do not pay much, but it is easy money to earn. You can receive up to three emails per day.
6. Referral Program
One way to maximise your earnings from reward sites is by referring friends. When a friend signs up to InboxPound through your link, you will get 10% of your friend’s earnings. Whenever your friend completes an offer, you get money, too. Your friend gets a £1 sign-up bonus.
InboxPounds Golden Membership
After your first payout, you become a Gold member. As a Gold member, you’ll get faster payouts and more offers. Personally, I don’t have issues with this. However, online, many Gold users complain that they stopped receiving surveys or their payout never arrived.

InboxPounds is no way to get rich. The amount you can earn is similar to other reward and survey sites. You may find some quick and high-paying offers, but most are low paid. You can expect an hourly return of around £5.
Your income depends on which offers you complete and how committed you are. Some people will earn more, while most people will earn less.
Is InboxPounds Worth Your Time?
InboxPounds is a good way to earn cash. However, you need to earn £20 to cash out, and survey panels don’t pay well per survey. Overall, InboxPounds is worth using, but there are better sites.

InboxPounds is a rewards site. On InboxPounds, you can complete various tasks to earn real money. It is a legit site and safe to use. However, be careful when signing up to third-party sites via InboxPounds.
When signing up, you need to keep in mind that some users have reported payout problems. This is why I recommend Freecash over InboxPounds.
