In this Profit Maximiser review, we are investigating Profit Maximiser, a matched betting service. I have put this review off for a long time because Profit Maximiser’s website looks so scammy. Now the time has finally come.
Join me to find out what is behind the scammy-looking homepage and to find out if Profit Maximiser is worth your money.
Profit Maximiser Review
Profit Maximiser is a legit matched betting service. It is cheaper than its competitors but also has fewer features.
What Is Profit Maximiser?
Profit Maximiser is a matched betting subscription service. This means that Profit Maximiser will help you find profitable sports betting offers.
It will also provide you with the necessary tools to make a quick and easy profit from these offers.
Profit Maximiser was founded by Mike Cruickshank, who has a net worth of £6.2 million, in 2013. Its goal is to give you an “unfair advantage” when placing sports bets.
However, since matched betting is completely legal, there is nothing unfair about it.
Mike Cruickshank also sells some other betting tools, including:
- Bonus Bagging (a one-to-one matched betting service)
- Betting Mastermind (daily mail with selections of profitable Betfair bets)
- Each Way Sniper (finds probably each-way bets)
- Betfair Sniper (exploits the Betfair Exchange horse racing market)
- EV Maximiser (EV calculator for casino offers)
- Betfair 1% Club (for football trading on Betfair)
- 20 Minute System (to find profitable each-way gold bests on Betfair)
Is Profit Maximiser Legit?
Profit Maximiser is legit and not a scam. When I was a matched betting newbie, I mistook Profit Maximiser for a scam because of its website design. But it really is legit.

The company behind Profit Maximiser is Mike Cruickshank Publishing LTD. Its company number is 08087258.
There are exactly zero Profit Maximiser reviews on Trustpilot. However, on Google, you can find several other Profit Maximiser reviews that attest to its legitimacy.
Is Profit Maximiser Safe?
Profit Maximiser is safe to use. You will need to enter your details to set up the subscription. Profit Maximiser will not use your details for other purposes.
Note that while Profit Maximiser is safe, matched betting is not risk free. You may lose money due to a number of reasons including accidental gambling and mistakes. However, most people find matched betting hugely profitable.
What Is the Price of Profit Maximiser?
Profit Maximiser only has one plan which is £116.40 per year (including VAT). They also offer a 14-day trial for £1.20 (including VAT) at the time of writing this Profit Maximiser review.
This trial automatically progresses to the full membership if you do not cancel it.
What Training and Tutorials Are Available?
Profit Maximiser offers four videos explaining the basic matched betting offers. Then, there are also four videos for basic casino offers.
These videos are step-by-step guides on how to complete basic offers. You can simply follow along with the videos to complete offers without understanding what you are doing.
While you can make money this way, Profit Maximiser does not actually explain how matched betting works. I think this is dangerous as Profit Maximiser encourages you to do something that you do not understand.
Learning why matched betting works can seem daunting but it is important to become a confident matched bettor.
How Many Offers Does Profit Maximiser Have?
There are two different offer types for matched betting:
- Sign-up offers: these are offers for new customers. They can only be completed once when you open a new bookmaker account
- Reload offers: these are offers for customers who already have an account with a bookmaker
Both offer types exist for both sports betting and online casinos.
Sign-up Offers
At the time of writing this Profit Maximiser review, the following sign-up offers are available:
| Sports Betting Offers | Casino Offers | |
|---|---|---|
| Number of offers | 35 | 71 |
| Expected profit | £553 | Not reported |
Reload Offers
Matched bettors get their reload offers from many different places. This includes their matched betting service provider. For a full list of where to find reload offers, read my matched betting reload offers guide.
There are 15 sports betting reload offers available at the time of writing this Profit Maximiser review. As for the casino section, there are 10 casino reload offers.
Note that this is just a small snapshot in time and there may be more or less offers on different days. The offer calendar refreshes every day.
Profit Maximiser Oddsmatcher
The oddsmatcher is the main tool matched bettors use. Its purpose is to find matches with close odds so that you can place profitable bets.
The oddsmatcher on Profit Maximiser works exactly the same way and has the same functions as the ones on Outplayed and OddsMonkey.

When you click on a bet, a pop-up with the details opens. Here, you can lay bets directly at Smarkets. Profit Maximiser customers are eligible for Smarket’s zero-percent commission offer.
This means that, unlike regular bettors, you can use Smarkets for free.
Profit Maximiser Tools
Apart from the oddsmatcher (called odds software on Profit Maximiser), there are also some other matched betting tools:
- Dutching software: to find profitable dutching matches
- Bet log: to keep track of your placed bets
- Custom search: to search for matches with close odds according to your specifications
- ITV racing: to find close odds for ITV horse races
- Mobile software: smartphone-friendly oddsmatcher
- Acca matcher: to find accumulator bets
- Acca bet finder: to search for a specific accumulator
- EV simulator: to calculate the expected value of casino offers
- Daily extra places: a list of bookmakers and races eligible for extra places
- 2up software: to find close odds for matched eligible for the 2up promotion

Profit Maximiser Calculators
There are also a number of matched betting calculators available on Profit Maximiser:
- Standard matched betting calculator
- Odds converter
- Early-payout calculator
- Each-way arbing calculator
- Extra-places calculator
- Accumulator calculator
- Refund expected value calculator (for refund offers)

Profit Maximiser Community and Support
Profit Maximiser does not have a forum. Instead, it offers a private Facebook group. Although there are quite a few members, there does not seem to be a lot of activity.
Though I suppose it is the best place to ask questions as otherwise, you will have to email the support team.
Pros and Cons of Profit Maximiser
Profit Maximiser Review Pros
- Cheap compared to other matched betting services
Profit Maximiser Review Cons
- Limited features
- Some sign-up and reload offers missing from the offer lists
- Small community
- Limited training and guides
How to Cancel Profit Maximiser Membership
After doing my review, I had a hard time finding the cancellation button. And it turned out, there is none.
If you want to cancel your Profit Maximiser membership, you will have to email the support team (support@profitmaximiser.co.uk).
The trial can be cancelled at any time within the trial period. If you signed up for the full subscription, you can get a refund within the first 30 days.
Profit Maximiser vs Outplayed and OddsMonkey
When comparing Profit Maximiser vs Outplayed and OddsMonkey, it has less functionality. But on the bright side, Profit Maximiser is also cheaper.
Profit Maximiser almost feels like a lite version of Outplayed and OddsMonkey.
Overall, you will likely make more money with Outplayed or OddsMonkey. Read my Outplayed.com review and my OddsMonkey review for more information.
Profit Maximiser Review Summary
Profit Maximiser is a legit matched betting subscription provider. It offers access to an oddsmatcher, some guides, and offers.
You will be able to successfully do matched betting with Profit Maximiser.
However, to get the most out of matched betting, you may want to sign up with one of the best matched betting sites instead.
There, you will find more support and more offers.
