My Experience With OddsMonkey After 4 Years (Review 2024)

In this OddsMonkey review, you will learn about the benefits and drawbacks of this matched betting software. Doing matched betting without a dedicated service is dangerous. You will waste time and money. Plus, you are more likely to make costly mistakes.

Paul King started OddsMonkey in 2011. It is a UK site intended for the British sports betting market. You can use it for betting markets in other countries, but you won’t get the full benefit.

OddsMonkey is legit and not a scam. The company behind OddsMonkey is DotNetPages Limited. It is a private limited company registered with the company number 07711804.

OddsMonkey also has an excellent rating on Trustpilot, with an average score of 4.7 out of 5.0. Overall, 95% of users rated OddsMonkey as great or excellent. The few negative reviews mostly complain about the price.

Previously, OddsMonkey had one plan, Premium, that gave users access to all features. Now, users must pay for All Access to access the casino section. Prices have also increased. When I started, I only paid £150 annually.

Of course, there has been high inflation in the past years. But on the other hand, matched betting offers have become less profitable. I don’t like the price hike, but OddsMonkey is good enough that users are willing to pay.

New users can get a free 30-day trial of OddsMonkey. During the trial, you learn to do matched betting and earn up to £39.

I have been an OddsMonkey affiliate since 2019. Most people I referred are on the monthly plan. If you are reading this, consider signing up for the annual plan. You save 40% compared to the monthly plan and can make the money back in less than a month.

OddsMonkey Premium vs All Access

Should you sign up for OddsMonkey Premium or All Access? Typically, new matched bettors start on the Premium plan. You can’t learn sports betting and casino offers at the same time. Thus, signing up for All Access as a newbie would be a waste.

The best course is to sign up to OddsMOnkey Premium first. Then, decide whether you also want to learn casino offers.

How to Get an OddsMonkey Discount After the Free Trial

OddsMonkey gives you one month for £9.99 if you attempt to cancel your plan. You can take this offer and then proceed to stay a member. This offer does not appear for all users but is worth trying.

What Tutorials and Training Does OddsMonkey Offer?

Tutorials

When signing up, OddsMonkey’s services can appear overwhelming. Luckily, the tutorial section is helpfully labelled Start.

This section has seven written guides, helping you to make your first profit. Video guides clarify the bits that beginners may struggle with. The tutorials are easy to understand for beginners. I started with these guides, and here I am with over £15,000 in profit. Clearly, OddsMonkey is doing something right.

Training

Once you have learned the basics, you are ready for the training section. There are guides for everything you to know. All guides are text based. Videos would be helpful, but you can contact support if unsure.

The support team generally responds quickly. They are also patient no matter how long you take to understand something. (I am speaking from experience.)

What Matched Betting Sign-up (New Account) Offers Does OddsMonkey Have?

Initially, most of your profit will come from new account offers. OddsMonkey has a comprehensive list of new account offers. All offers also come with a detailed explanation.

However, some matched bettors may find the number of offers overwhelming. Some offers are more complex or require more money in your exchange than others.

I think this is one of the areas OddsMonkey could improve. For example, OddsMonkey could rank offers according to their difficulty or profitability.

Sign-up offers change often. Bookmakers withdraw offers or make new ones. At the time of writing this OddsMonkey review, you can find the following number of sign-up offers:

Another brilliant tool of OddsMonkey is the daily offer calendar. This is where you can find reload offers without having to search. I have over 90 accounts and could never check them all daily.

The offer calendar is a great help, but it is incomplete. Bookmakers change offers, so you still have to do some manual work. I always check Facebook groups and OddsMonkey’s forum to ensure I capture all offers.

What Features Does OddsMonkey Offer?

1. OddsMonkey Oddsmatcher

The oddsmatcher software is OddsMonkey’s key tool. With it, you can find close matches for maximum profit and save time. If you were looking for odds manually, you would never find the best odds. And placing fewer bets would mean less profit.

You can create and save different filters, which is particularly useful. My default filter shows matches ideal for trigger bets. This means I can find the best matches with a single click. Then, I have another filter optimised for free bets and other offers.

Linking OddsMonkey to Betting Exchanges

You can link betting exchanges like Betfair to the Oddsmatcher. This enables you to lay bets from the OddsMonkey interface. Not having to navigate to the exchange is a real time saver.

Linking OddsMonkey to Smarkets also saves you from paying commission. Usually, Smarkets charges 2% of your winnings as their fee. For OddsMonkey users, Smarkets is free; you only need to place a bet through the integration.

Not paying commission saves you more money than your OddsMonkey membership costs.

2. Racing and Extra Place Matchers

Of the matchers, the racing matcher and the extra place matcher are the most useful. The racing matcher helps to find horses with close odds sorted by offer type. Horse odds change quickly, so having a tool to track the odds is crucial.

The extra place matcher is helpful for similar reasons. I could not imagine manually placing extra-place bets. The effort wouldn’t be worth the profit.

3. Niche Matchers

Apart from the main matchers, OddsMonkey has some more niche matchers:

• Each Way Matcher

2ups are the favourite offer of many seasoned matched bettors. This offer pays you as a winner when the team you bet on gains a two-goal lead. You can then make a profit by cashing out your lay bet.

The Dutch Matcher becomes essential when completing tennis offers. You can also use it to arb bookmakers while avoiding detection. You can also use the Each-way Matcher for arbing. (Though I recommend using the Oddsmatcher for this.)

4. Accumulator (Acca) Finder

Honestly, I hardly use the accumulator section. Betting on a premade accumulator on Smarkets is easier than making your own.

However, if you want to build an accumulator, OddsMonkey can help you. The Accumulator Finder finds suitable matches depending on the offer. After each match, update the calculator to get the correct lay stake. The calculator has different modes:

I know some matched bettors who make decent profits from no-lay accas. Personally, I don’t do this, but they may find the Accumulator EV calculator helpful.

The calculator section of OddsMonkey could be better organised. For example, the unwanted lay calculator can be a lifesaver, but many people do not know it exists.

6. Profit Tracker

OddsMonkey has a built-in profit tracker that records your bets. You can add new bets by clicking a button in the Oddsmatcher and most calculators. It’s how I keep track of my profits.

The Analysis section lets you examine your profits in detail. This helps to identify areas you neglected and can make more from. You can also find patterns in your profit and see your long-term success.

The profit tracker is adequate and fit for its purpose. Yet, there is room for improvement. I know many matched bettors who keep their own spreadsheets. The profit tracker does not allow in-depth data analysis.

What Is OddsMonkey’s Casino Section Like?

Casino offers are not without risk. You will lose money. However, the statistics are in your favour. Over time, you should make more than you lose.

OddsMonkey recently added a section for casino offers. This came in response to Outplayed expanding its casino section.

OddsMonkey’s casino hub has five sections:

• Sign-up and reload offers. Get all sign-ups and existing customer offers from casinos.
• Guides. Learn everything you need to know about casino offers.
• Expected-value calculator. Calculate how much casino offers are worth.

The Slots Database is a handy feature enabling you to find the best slot on a casino site. Checking slots manually is a hassle and wastes time. It’s what I used to do before the Slots Database. I don’t miss those times.

What Is OddsMonkey’s Community Like?

OddsMonkey’s forum is a place to connect to other matched bettors. I prefer Facebook groups for the community. However, the OddsMonkey forum has its benefits.

OddsMonkey has a famous Price Boost No Chat and Casino Offers No Chat thread. Here, members post profitable price boosts, and casino reloads. Price boosts are higher odds as part of a promotion. They are a quick and easy profit if you find them.

The threads are free from conversations. You can turn notifications on or connect your mobile phone via PushBullet. Price boosts are short-lived, so live notifications are essential.

Does OddsMonkey Offer Support?

OddsMonkey offers incredible customer service and support. Ask if you have a problem or question, and you will get help.

Once, a certain bookmaker changed the terms of a profitable offer overnight. I had already placed my bets using the Win-bonus Calculator. Working out how to correct my lay stake was impossible.

OddsMonkey is one of the best matched betting services. For beginners, OddsMonkey offers all the necessary guides and tutorials. It also provides a comprehensive list of new account and reload offers.

Without OddsMonkey, matched betting would take a lot more time. I could not have made nearly £10,000 in my first year of matched betting without OddsMonkey. It is an excellent asset to your matched betting strategy.
